Anne has been an expert in diabetes management and education for many years. Her initial introduction was working with type 1 diabetes, in the Diabetes Control and Complications Trial, a landmark study researching the effects of tight management on the complications of diabetes. She has worked extensively with diabetes and pregnancy, focusing on medication and diet control. Anne has been at East End Endocrine focusing on people with both type 1 and type 2 diabetes. She uses an individualized approach to diabetes management, incorporating diet and exercise, medication, insulin, and stress management into people’s lifestyles.
Anne has also work at New York Hospital Presbyterian Diabetes Center and Joslin Center for Diabetes at Roosevelt Hospital in the past.
